This hotel was super comfy and clean! Everything was well thought out, and the location is just amazin', so close to all the main sites like Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast was awesome too, lots of tasty options to choose from. The staff were really friendly, especially Mehmet who helped me a ton! I felt really welcome .
The economy room was a bit too small for me, felt kinda cramped and had minimal storage.

The hotel had a charming old-world style, and the variety at breakfast was impressive, catering to all tastes. The location made it so easy to walk to key attractions, though the bathrooms could use more shelves for convenience. A great experience that I would happily repeat.

The rooms are very clean, and that's what really counts. The breakfast and especially beyond the traditional international, local dishes are served. Staff friendly and helpful, everyone speaks English. recommended from the airport, including one from the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (fee)
small rooms, but not a problem having to return to the room only to sleep

An air conditioning and closet space in the room, great location. Pleasant and welcoming employees in such a nice manner. Location close to a Taxi, safe for single females, and other bars instead: )

The staff were accommodating. Always ready with tips on where to explore. The breakfast was a good start to each day. From fresh fruits to hearty options. The rooftop terrace offers fine sunset views. A perfect spot to unwind.
Having only one key for the room was a bit of a hassle. Two keys would make life easier.

The Hotel staff are super nice and really helpful.they upgraded my room free of charge to meet one specific request that I made in my reservation. The location of the Hotel is perfect, within walking distance from major tourist attractions in the city and conveniently situated between 2 tram station and near the spices market and surrounded by many reasonably priced restaurants. The Golden Horn view from the hotel restaurant is really nice and the food is really nice and not that expensive
The shower space is very small

Charming little brand-new hotel, superb views of the sea. Lovely bedroom. Ideal and exceptionally nice location, close to Marmaray Sirkeci. Good food in the rooftop restaurant in the vicinity.

Great breakfast, warm welcome at the hotel, excellent location (200m from 2 tram stations and less than 10min walk from Hagia Sofia/Blue Mosque). Very spacious rooms (210 and 212), though there are still very small rooms in the hotel (book early!). The best hotel we stayed in during a 40-day tour of Europe. The rooftop restaurant is good, and has the nicest "testi kebap" in town. Free wireless in the rooms works great. Hotel organized airport transfers at a good rate (~25 euros total for 4 people) and other activities (Hamam, whirling dervishes presentation, etc...). Love Istanbul and will stay at Ipek every time I go back.
Nearby construction bothered a little bit in the rooms that faced it. But don't let that stop ya! =) Keep the cappuccino machine on everyday, perhaps offer regular coffee and more sweets for those who did not adapt to the Turkish coffee and the Turkish breakfast experience.

It is for the second time when I stayed at Ipek Palas hotel. It is clean, comfortable, has very nice staff, and best location - near the most important touristic sites. The food is good, fresh and the new restaurant look very well. It also have free wireless internet which works pretty good.
